Mission
The School Fees Project addresses the obstacle of mandatory school fees for secondary education in Africa by providing scholarships to students who would otherwise be denied the dream of further education.
By providing access to secondary education, the School Fees Project aims to break the ceiling of truncated education and the cycle of poverty by helping to unlock individual potential and improve prospects for upward mobility. Thereby, we seek to strengthen historically impoverished countries through development of their most important resource--their youth.
With a supplemental curriculum that emphasizes pluralism, democracy, gender equality, and environmental stewardship, the School Fees Project further seeks to instill in young people the values with which to build open and sustainable societies.
